This one is super basic, but I wanted to add it anyway. I normally wouldn’t have purchased the Trader Joe’s Traditional Pot Roast (Shani doesn’t eat cow and I try and respect that by not keeping any of these tasty meats in the fridge), but as I was casually looking at some of the items in the refrigerated case, I was approached by a serious fan of these little roasts. Out of nowhere, this guy grabs one, asks me if I’ve tried them, tells me how amazing they are, and literally puts one in my hand. He went on to explain that he heats them for just a couple of minutes, and if he isn’t careful, will eat the whole thing. He told me several more times about how great they were, to add some veggies and you’ve got a meal. He then grabbed 3 0r 4 more, put them in his cart, and off he went. I don’t know about you, but when someone gives such a ringing endorsement, I feel obligated to at least give it a go.
Here’s to you, Pot Roast Man!
Ingredients used:
- 3 oz Trader Joe’s Traditional Pot Roast, sliced
- 1 Trader Joe’s Brown Rice Tortilla
- 1 tsp. Trader Joe’s Reduced Fat Mayonnaise
- Trader Joe’s Hot & Sweet Mustard, to taste
- 1 leaf of Just the Leaves of Romaine Lettuce
Just roll and go!
I actually heat the rice tortilla for about 35 seconds, it rolls easier that way. I had my wrap with mayo and mustard, but I imagine there are a plethora of ways to use these little roasts. The roasts are already pre-cooked so no need to wait around while this is cooking up! I had my cold, but I’m sure it’s even better warm! Enjoy!
